The Harvard Business School Guide to Careers in the Nonprofit
Sector
This guide is a great resource for MBAs and alumni interested in entering
the nonprofit sector. It provides an overview of social enterprise and the
nonprofit sector, discusses the nonprofit career continuum and the job search
process, and provides subsector overviews and an extensive list of resources.
Scattered throughout are profiles of Harvard MBAs pursuing a wide range of

CharityChannel
This online community of nonprofit professionals has developed “Career
Search Online,” a good resource for job seekers in the sector.
The
Chronicle of Philanthropy
This newspaper of the nonprofit world houses “Philanthropy Careers” with
job postings and news and advice on careers.
Council on Foundations
A nonprofit membership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations.
