Dan Ariely
Dan Ariely researches the forces that influence our behavior, with a focus on the decisions we make that do not seem rational or in our best interests. Dan is the author of Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality, The Honest Truth About Dishonesty, Payoff and Dollars and Sense.

Ryan McDevitt
Ryan McDevitt is an economist who studies consumer behavior. His research has suggested improvements to the check-cashing industry and has uncovered problems in health care policy.

Jeremy Petranka
Jeremy Petranka is an economist with expertise in strategy and information technology. He advised firms on IT strategy when data analytics was in its infancy and can discuss the present and future of big data and its role in improving firm performance.

Ashleigh Shelby Rosette
Ashleigh Rosette studies diversity and has extensively researched race and gender issues. She is in frequent demand from companies looking to improve diversity initiatives in meaningful ways.

Dan Vermeer

Aaron "Ronnie" Chatterji
Aaron “Ronnie” Chatterji was a senior economist at the U.S. White House Council of Economic Advisors in 2010 and 2011. Aaron is particularly passionate about entrepreneurship, the social mission of business and has extensively studied the impact of corporate social activism.

Alon Brav
Alon Brav studies investments and corporate financing. Alon’s research has examined how activist investors can help a company’s performance.

John Graham
John Graham’s research interests include corporate finance, taxation, and forecasts. John is also director of the Duke/CFO Global Business Outlook Survey and can provide perspective about financial indicators across the globe.

Campbell Harvey
Cam Harvey is as widely-quoted expert in investments, both in the U.S. and abroad. His work challenges the validity of much financial research. He has extensive research about the use of gold to hedge against inflation. Cam has also studied bitcoin and the potential uses of the underlying blockchain technology.
Health Care

David Ridley
David Ridley examines innovation and pricing, especially in health care. He was the lead author of the paper proposing the priority review voucher program to encourage development of drugs for neglected diseases.

Peter Ubel
Peter Ubel is a physician and behavioral scientist. He is the author of the book Critical Decisions about how to communicate with your doctor. His research explores the quirks in human nature that affect our health, happiness and how society functions.

Rick Larrick

David McAdams’ primary research interests are microeconomic theory and game theory, with a special focus on strategic interactions between buyers and sellers, including auctions, pricing, negotiations and relationships.

Jordan Etkin is a marketing professor whose research into time management has drawn media interest for its practical solutions for increasing happiness.

Gavan Fitzsimons
Gavan Fitzsimons studies consumer behavior. He is particularly interested in how the consumer is unconsciously influenced. His work focuses on topics like how our eating habits or beliefs are influenced without our knowledge.

Christine Moorman
Christine Moorman is the founder and managing director of The CMO Survey. The survey examines the role of marketers, how firms are spending money on marketing and what they predict for the future.

Cathy Clark
Cathy Clark is a leader in social entrepreneurship and is one of the world’s top academics in the area of impact investing. Cathy is deeply connected to Fuqua’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE).
